The Made in Illinois grant program is designed to promote and enhance economic development. Illinois manufacturers with between 5-250 employees may be awarded up to $50K as a reimbursement grant related to productivity and innovation related projects.
Do You Qualify for the Program?
Grant project must be conducted in Illinois and for an existing Illinois manufacturers with the following qualifications:
- For-profit entity primarily engaged in manufacturing(as designated by NAICS codes 31-33)
- Employ between 5 and 250 employees
- Operated in Illinois for at least three years
- Had sales revenue in the last 12 months prior to application date

What does the Program Cover?
Allowable expenditures from July 1st, 2023 through April 1st, 2024.
Examples include:
- Machinery acquisition, such as a 3D printer, specialized automation equipment, collaborative robotics
- Specialized hardware or software, such as IIOT, cybersecurity, predictive maintenance, augmented reality
- Late stage product testing and scaling of new products
- Development and commercialization of new products
